Local Stop for Happy Hour and Party Later

Music Box is at the 74th Street Subway Station in Queens where the 7, R, M, E and F trains meet. A trip from Manhattan is an easy one and recommended for happy hour. Happy hour is a stop for locals to have a drink at resonable prices. Clients of all persuasions appear from about 5 to 9 on their way home from work. Its easy to meet and carryon more personally with new friends. The neighborhood in this largely Hispanic and it is party time for everyone later. It is my opinion that prices then get to be too high for a local hangout.

Great Neighborhood Bar....lots of fun

Music Box Bar has been transforming itself lately, becoming lots more popular and lots more fun. New friendly staff has been joining the existing staff and the bar is becoming more and more crowded, with a great clientele, great music and great parties. Check it out

A true MIX that works!

Been a couple of times and there's something to comfortable and different about the place, the vibe that works. It really was a mix of pretty diverse and people of all backgrounds and pursuasions who co-exited and had a great time. Really beats the typical sleazy gay bars one is used to. P.S. hot and friendly bartenders.

Expensive

Drinks are too pricey for astoria, otherwise a great place!
