Best happy hour

The Duplex is hands-down my favorite homo hangout in the city. It's laid-back and relaxed with no attitude. Crowd is on the older side, but on a busy night it's a pretty eclectic mix which makes it a great place to come to with straight friends. Always something fun and weird going on in the cabaret, or come to happy hour in the piano bar to hear Nate Buccieri, who is amazingly talented and funny (and cute!). Drinks are on the pricey side but they're mixed well by a friendly and attentive staff.

Very Socialable But A Little Small

Overall this place is an amazing bar to let your hair down (if you have any that it). Very nice people, great song choice for sing-a-longs but it is kinda small. Would've preferred a larger bar.

always a fun time

Bartenders will take care of you at this joint. Feels the most intimate of local bars. Cabaret here is excellent. Nice patio area as well. Upstairs has video screens and 2nd bar. This small place can get PACKED, but it will always put a smile on your face.

Great place for fun!~

The Duplex is a great place to hang out...all welcome, the piano bar/sing along is great fun. Not your typical gay bar but wonderful fun. Give it a try!

Memories....

Gotta love this place: at the bar upstairs I exchanged my first words ever with the guy I've been living with for the past six years...
