A packed crowd always enjoys the music and drinks at The Hangar. Frequented heavily by sexy African-American and Latino men; the music is pumping and drinks are flowing.

I love it there! It seem to be always pack with horny guys. as i was walking through i feel some touch me ..... i look to see who it was and i could not tell who? I love being there even though i have to step outside once in awhile for some fresh air. A must go!!
Always fun
I love this place - just an easy, no-frills joint with great music, good bartenders and a clientele that just wants to have fun. I usually go on Sundays and have never had a bad or quiet time there ---- and most often wind up meeting a new best friend for the day.
One of the only good ones left on Christopher St
They get a great night crowd, can be very Chelsea-ish !! Its a good bar to go to early. Hot /Nice bartenders and Owners~Tuesdays they have a great 2-1 all day/night. Pool table and hot strippers. If you don't like making your way threw a tight crowd it may not be for you when its busy
you have to be kidding me!!
This place is so bad I dont know where to begin! so I wont even go there...you shouldnt either!!
Old Saloons Never Disappoint
Perhaps because I hit a bar because I want a couple--, well, okay, often more than a couple of beers, and not necessarily to hit up a guy, I look at a place like The Hangar from another prism of vision. It's exactly what it purports itself to be: a saloon, albeit a Gay saloon, but a saloon nonetheless. Friendly, welcoming, always a nice crowd at the bar, can argue, agree, whatever, on everything from politics to fashion. Nice back bar for the evening, when the crowd overflows. Elsewhere in NYC, the old-time saloon is giving way to boutiques and trendy wine bars, but places like The Hangar and others on Christopher Street, are keeping up the good fight. More power to them.
