Best midtown BBQ

Virgil's understands the theater district crowd's needs: great food served on the quick side. If you're checking out a matinee pop into Virgils before or after the show. The restaurant is huge but there can be a big wait before theater. If there's a wait, it's definitely worth it. Just have a cocktail at the bar and get your appetite ready for some good old fashioned BBQ.

Over a year ago

Its not on the menu but ask for the Fried Pickle basket as a starter. So good. Service was OK; not the hostess was not terribly friendly.
